James R. Eckstein, D.D.S., M.D. completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of California at Irvine and then completed dental training at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. He trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas where he recieved extended training in facial cosmetic surgery. He has been in the private practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery in San Diego since 1996. Dr. James Eckstein is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
